My Uncle David was always vibrant and full of life. A few years back, he started having mild back pain, constant fatigue, and light indigestion. Don’t they have a new blood test where u can detect symptoms for possible future risk of pancreatic cancer? I’m wondering if that’s true because I have a small cyst like growth in my pancreas, I believe at the tail and every 2 years I have to get ct which I hate because I have to be premedicated I’m allergic to the dye. Does anyone on here know if the blood test is available to diagnose up to 3 years in advance?
I started getting pancreatic cancer screenings at age 35. I first got diagnosed with pancreatitis in my early 20s and then got genetic testing and was positive. I been a type 1 diabetic since I was 14.
My mom’s aunt passed in her 60s and a cousin at 38 from pancreatic cancer.
