Бедняжки американцы…Хотели так отомстить за своих товарищей что спалили десятки городов. Дрезден, например. Очень ранимый народ. Как вы вообще воюете?
The resilience of those crews was legendary.

''*IT WENT BY LIKE WE'RE STANDING STILL*'' the terror of the B-17 pilots and its crews at the sight of the first Jet power plane for the first time filled them with dread
Our dear friend's father, Major Roy Blount, flew the P-47's out of France for missions of every kind. He flew escort missions, protecting the B-17's from the Lufwaft pilots. He said his heart would sink when they had to turn away and head back because of fuel constraints. His favorite missions were on D-Day where they turned them loose to hit any, and all targets of opportunity and Roy hit three different trains, destroying the locomotives on tow of them. And the third train, which was an armored train with anti-aircraft guns, put up a hell of a fight. But Roy got through and hit one of the box cars that had ammunition in it. Roy said the explosion was so hug, it about blew him out of the sky and sent a mushroom cloud several hundred feet high. He looked down at the train, and several cars each side of that ammo car were eviscerated, there was nothing left at all. We stayed at Roy's lovely beach side cottage down in Seaside, Oregon, and it was really a treat to look through Roy's scrapbooks and photo albums to see all those pictures of his what time in theater during the war. Pictures of Roy's buddies in their planes and Roy's P-47, that was painted "Delightful Delores", who he eventually married after the war. Roy had a shadow box on the wall with a ton of medals, which included the DFC, 2 silver stars, a bronze star with a V device. A presidential unit citation and two purple hearts. Roy was the kindest gentlest man you'd ever havr the pleasure of meeting. He had no problem talking about the war, but he would always wanted to talk about what other people did. So it was kind of hard to get stories out of him and his time in theater. Rest in peace. Roy, you did your job and you did it well!
I love your videos can you make 1 about B52?
그들의 용기와 분투에 경의를 표합니다.
I like history
Скаски Андерсана. Просто Чушь
La segunda historia es brutal 😮.
Обалденный фильм
If I were you, I would tell the story of the B-29 over Korea. A lot happened back then, but nobody told the story. Especially the part about the black Namsi plane.
Some great stories there.
Not usually my thing but enjoyed these. I had heard one or two before.
After doing parachute jumps I can appreciate how falling with no chute could feel. If you've not done one people, definitely put it on your bucket list. All that wind passing then utter silence when the chute opens, amazing experience
Dude just keeps getting better budget
The Brass Rain was thick in this one. 😂😂😂
These men are all heros
U SHOULD DO A FOO FIGHTER EPISODE
My great great Uncle was a a ball turret. Gunner in a B-17 called Satan‘s sister that was shot down when another B-17 information drifted our affirmation because of the wind and sheared my uncle’s B-17 and half everybody in the front section died either immediately or went down with the plane but because the front section was gone, the hydraulics that were needed for my Uncle to get up out of the ball turret went down meaning the only way to pull the turd up was by hand crank which bravely witnessed by one of the The side, gunners the radio operator on the plane while it was going down on the half a plane cranked my uncle’s tear it up so he could get out and parachute down unfortunately, though the radio operator was so tired from cranking my uncle out of the ball that he was not able to bail out and he went down with the plane and I got all of this from picture and I was able to show this to my grandma that said her uncle never told her the story for all I know I don’t think he told anybody this story and all she heard was that he couldn’t eat because he was a POW and all the food upset his stomach but it’s important to know the history. I hope this inspires other people to keep their family member stories alive.

Please make a video about the Il-2. For instance, you could use Mikhail Odintsov’s book Ordeal by Fire (Ispytaniye Ognyom), written by a pilot who flew both the Su-2 and Il-2, or any other memoir by real Il-2 pilots, as there are plenty of them. At their core, 'Flying Fortresses' and 'Flying Tanks' are very similar because both often had to fly without fighter escort, bearing the brunt of the attack and relying solely on their own survivability and the resilience of their crews in the absolute hell of aerial combat.
Anyone else get straight goosebumps and the hair on your neck stand straight up at the end when they read that note?😢 just incredible.
