నా ఒక్క request… ఈ society మారుతుందని ఎదురు చూడటం కంటే, అలాంటి పరిస్థితి వచ్చినప్పుడు ఎలా సమాధానం చెప్పాలో నేర్చుకోవడం చాలా అవసరం. ఎందుకంటే మనం మారగలం, కానీ అందరి mindset వెంటనే మారదు.
అందుకే, ఎవరైనా మిమ్మల్ని అవమానించేలా లేదా discriminate చేసేలా మాట్లాడితే ఎలా ధైర్యంగా, గౌరవంగా సమాధానం చెప్పాలో ఇక్కడ commentsలో share చేయండి. కనీసం వాటిని చదివి అయినా కొంతమందికి ఉపయోగపడొచ్చు. ఎవరికైనా confidence రావచ్చు, అవసరమైన సమయంలో తమ కోసం తాము నిలబడగలరు.
చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి ఇలా discrimination face చేసే వాళ్లు ఎంత బాధ పడతారో నాకు తెలుసు. ఇంకో నిజం ఏమిటంటే, ఇలా బాధపడిన వాళ్లలో కొంతమంది కూడా తెలియకుండానే ఇంకొకరిని discriminate చేస్తారు. కానీ మిగతా వాళ్లతో పోలిస్తే వీళ్లలో కొంతమందికి అయినా ఆ బాధ ఏంటో తెలిసి కొంచెం better mindset ఉంటుంది.
చిన్నప్పటి నుంచి ఇలాంటి comments, comparisons, discrimination face చేసిన వాళ్లకి ఆ ప్రభావం చాలా సార్లు life long ఉంటుంది. ఎందుకంటే ఈ societyలో కొంతమంది తెలియక hurt చేస్తారు, ఇంకొంతమంది మాత్రం కావాలనే hurt చేస్తారు. దాని వల్ల చాలా మందికి self-confidence తగ్గిపోతుంది. చదువు, job, relationships, లేదా జీవితంలోని చాలా విషయాల్లో కూడా ఆ insecurity వెంటాడుతూ ఉంటుంది.
అయితే అందరి జీవితం ఒకేలా ఉండదు. కొంతమంది ఆ బాధను దాటుకుని ఇంకా strong అవుతారు. కానీ చాలా మంది మాత్రం ఆ గాయాలను చాలా కాలం వరకు మోస్తూనే ఉంటారు.
The day our movies stop preferring only fair-skinned actresses as heroines, and the day advertisements stop promoting fairness as the standard of beauty, maybe society will begin to change. Even today, in many films, fair skin is often associated with wealthy or high-class characters, while darker skin is shown for poorer or lower-class roles.
