In July I decided to set off from my my house and walk as far I can possibly can whilst surviving solely on whatever loose change I can find on the floor.
I know what you’re thinking; This is 2026. Nobody uses coins any more. Well, that may be so, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Armed with nothing but a sleeping bag, a packed lunch
and a few tricks up my sleeve that I was desperately hoping would allow me to unearth a few coppers, both old and new, I hit the tarmac.
Will I find enough to sustain me for more than a day? or will this idea prove to be as ridiculous as everyone I pitched it to thought it was…

I used to find a lot of money in the ball pits when i was a kid 😂
I find money frequently in parking lots. People getting in and out of their cars drop things out of their pockets when they pull their keys out of their pockets, I assume.
Typically we would call that the ground. The floor is reserved for inside of buildings. Places where they have flooring. You might call it the pavement or the ground outside.
I bet a lot of random change on quiet roads is people stopping to take a leak and brushing coins off their seat when sliding off
i like when we follow the rules of the challenges we set. that's why i like geowizard
14:33 "But then something happened that The Ring did not intend. It was picked up by the most unlikely creature imaginable: a Youtuber…"
yo basically the life of a homeless man
"Oh no, thought it was a 2 euro coin" 👀

Would be awesome to see a video where you live off scrap metal you find on the road
I would not sleep on registers. When I lose a coin it's at a supermarket register and I when i#m stressed I only pick up the big coins.
Would be really akward though-.
Carry a bottle of white vinger, your rusted coins would be good as new in a few hours
You could say it 'Travis' Perked you up…
Bring a neodymium magnet next time!! A bucket and something to help remove the metal items from the magnet, you’ll likely find more coins and get to cleanup the road along the way!
The Starbucks drive-thru employee was already done with you. lol.
I don't have time to watch but I'll thow out my guess. 562 miles in the first 8 days. Man can go without food the first 4 days while drinking water for free. Then he can use the money he picked up the first 4 days to buy a protein bar. I'm figuring a stride of 4-6mph for 8-10 hrs a day. At the end of 8 days he should be able to continue on assuming he's got time off work to use.
Where is the next video?
I believe Watling street is the longest straight road in England ! It's definitely top three I live near Watling Street in Radlett, Hertfordshire
27:45 He said the words. 😅
Hopefully, you washed your hands at some point, mate.
How old do you think the coins were that were so rusted? As an American, it seems that our coins don’t seem to rust or deteriorate fast so we can still find coins that are over 70 years old.
ive payed legal tender and i am now walking out with the strawberries
I feel this challenge would have been significantly easier 20/30 years ago. Used to find so much money back then
My local has a terraced area.
Used to pull up loose boards n get a small fortune.
Drunks , money = success

Not sure they're popular in the UK, but you could make quite a bit at a car junkyard searching through the cars
I used to be hardcore into Geocaching… Nowadays its just a breeding ground for Karens. There's too many rules and regulations that all the fun has been sucked out of it. It's better to make your own adventures.
