Lies of P Complete Edition – SHOULD You PLAY It? Is it WORTH It?

I’ve been in the know about this game for around 4 years now, having played the test demo way back at Gamescom 2022, reviewing the game in 2023, and then the DLC in 2025. Ever since I got my hands on that first demo, I knew it was going to be a hit, and it’s amazing to see just how far this Belle Epoque Soulslike has come. And now, to make things even better, Lies of P: Complete Edition launched on Nintendo Switch 2. So whether you’re a first-time player or a returning puppet-slayer, there’s never been a better time to jump back in.

I want to get it to replay since my lil bro has the switch 2 but Im currently playing lords of the fallen, mortal shell 2 comes out later this month & also elden ring on switch so I just know I wont have the time for it 😭

The only thing I didn't enjoy about Overture was them introducing frost as a status ailment and then giving us no frost weapons
It's a shame that they support anti digital propaganda and you can't get the physical cards and other bonuses with a digital code included.

Lies of P should be considered required playing. It is one of the best in the genre, easily the best soulslike game, good enough to rival all the fromsoftware games as well. You should certainly buy it.

Was looking for this on the 5th when the game came out. I played my 1st playthrough and completed it today on the switch 2. The game ran flawless. Im glad it did. It shows games can be optimized to run on the switch 2. Will start the dlc tomorrow.
Why would anyone play this game on a switch 2 when you can play the superior version on ps5 or pc.

Video title is funny, “should you play it?” ABSOLUTELY. Lies of P is one of the best non-FromSoftware souls games ever released.

First time playing on the switch 2 and I’m loving it 👌🏽 first “souls like” experience
Its great but very overglazed. A solid 8/10 but def not on dark souls or Elden ring level
Replayed the entire base game on Switch 2, getting into the dlc. Performance has been flawless! Docked performance mode is fantastic, steady 60fps with fantastic textures and graphics. Handheld is also awesome! You can either do performance for a solid 60, I didn’t have any drops but performance graphics is a little blurry and the textures are a little more plain. I preferred handheld in balanced 40fps and docked at performance 60fps. If Switch 2 is an option for you, you will NOT be disappointed!
I am almost to the end of this game on ps5. If you have not played this game, and you are a scrub gamer like me, get this game! I don’t care about “git gud” or anything. If you cannot handle hard souls likes, this one allows you to, and wow has this game been amazing and worth it. Yes even you, crappy gamer, can enjoy this game.

I played this game atleast 5 times and il play it again on the switch
