Good on them for keeping the relationship a personal thing for so long, but I do love "out in the open" Shayne and Court. They really get funny and genuine moments that they bust out here and there and I love it
his hair looks sooooooo bad oh my god
I can’t read
Courtney almost saying “I should care” 😂😂😂😂😂
I feel this so hard. My husband is an avid reader. I'm talking will be reading essays for work, reading another academic book for pleasure, reading a separate book for relaxation, and listening to an audiobook anytime he's doing housework. So I will get the random book report on 4 separate books at once. And I love him and I will listen but sometimes my brain does blue screen with all the random and often times complex information I get
What she got a tattoo of a deer with cones in its eyes?
This is so cute lmaoo
Ngl that whole random explanation rollercoaster that Shayne does is something I do all the time I'll be at work and I'll randomly hear something and go a whole tangent about the bridge to terrabithia or something
Gotta make sure you add enough "That's crazy" but not too many of them 😂
I've never read Warhammer, but one of my best friends reads it a lot, and is constantly telling me stories about it… Man the funny shit that gets me is, I've never read a book, but I think it's fkn badass just from the little I've been told lol, but man I legit like when my friend starts telling me about a 40k book he's reading .
the relationship i waaaant
Book or video game, doesn't matter. It's experiencing essentially whole world's, people, things, places, situations that would take multiple lucky lifetimes to experience, if you even could. Really, storytelling is wildly important, how you take in those stories doesn't really matter

Tyrion Lannister when talking to Jon Snow about why he reads so much.
My bf processes things by talking about it out loud, so he’ll walk in the room and out of nowhere start ranting about whatever is on his mind 😂
Relatable
Not Amanda third-wheeling
“I also relate to that too”
Poor babyyyyy
She's eating, but she looks up and listens. He's playing video games, but he answers her calls. That was my takeaway.
See, this is normal in every relationship. People forget that you are two entirely whole human being with different states of mind, worries, etc. Now if it happens all the time that’s a different story, but every once and a while we just are tired or preoccupied 😂
Eating and breathing is important too. I think. Courtney: wonder what that means? Shayne pulls out a book and explains. He's living countless lives in each book.
If Shane made his own channel about books and or games I would watch it religiously. I love books and games
That's funny. I'm a professional reader and my husband is a gamer (he plays, tries them, and creates some). We've been together for the last 35+ years.
I think this channel is becoming the new Buzzfeed
not showing us Shayne is in the room until she says "I love you" is such good editing
I’m a bit of a story teller and so is my fiance so I feel this. Sometimes he’ll go on the longest tangents about work and I’m like, “we simply must put a pin in this because my brain isn’t keeping up.” The rest of the time he’ll ask about my day and about halfway through I’ll hear him snoring 😅
Prefire the “I love you” to soften the impact.
I used to read a lot as a kid. When I was young, my dad would ask me about the book. I would excitedly tell him about it and how much I was enjoying it and how cool it was. First, he stopped listening. Then he stopped asking. Then one day when I tried to tell him about a book I was reading, he asked me to stop and told me he didn't care. That kind of thing sticks with kids.
They're both such green flags im so glad they're happy together!
I fell like Shayne is starting to look like Ryan Gosling
This is that info lmao
My wife is crocheting, and my bumbling ass will shows talking about another book
Then she looses her count
It's funny that "that's so crazy" seems to be the universal phrase for "I'm not paying attention". In Spanish we say "Qué loco" 😂😂😂
This is probably something I should work on, but I felt this
Well at least your husband isn't training to be a master carpenter…. those explanations not as fun as book reviews lol seriously I hear cope and miter and poplar (which is a type of wood and I laugh evertine he says it because it sounds like hes saying popular wrong lol) oak, pine, so much about tools and blades and the allowances you have to leave for them. Oh, his saw was off and 8th of an inch…. dear lord that was a two week bender of hearing about this dang saw and how he had to account for it and fix it😅 at least book review are different topics lol
Info dumping is a showing of love! You just really want to share the things you love with the people you love ❤
He needs to be able to ask if you are ready for a book review
I feel so bad for my coworkers, because I read a lot during the quiet moment of overnight, and if something happens in my book/manga and I just NEED to talk to SOMEONE with I will go to the closest coworker to give them an info dump about why I'm freaking out lol
That's cawayzee
Your partner not really listening while playing games is universal? Okay, that makes me feel a bit better lol
