You have to put the shower in the toilet downstairs. He doesn’t realize he will someday not be able to climb them. I’m a survivor of six final surgeries and I do not do stairs older people should always have ability to have a downstairs bathroom. I agree with you you need to convince him that he needs one downstairs.
If you do another one i think owner should only come back to property for the big reveal. I do get you want rick comfortable.
