The Los Angeles Police Department is still searching for the suspect connected to a hit-and-run that left a man riding an e-scooter dead nearly five months ago.

With All the cameras and surveillance items throughout the cities as well as residential systems the person still hasnt been found? That car has been stashed or is in pieces by now. No accountability for actions at all. Karma will be brutal if not already happened. People just do not have a conscience anymore. Whether or not the victim was riding properly, the driver should have stopped. No excuses will make it right.
Such terrible people in society, not only can they not drive correctly but are self serving and have no regard for human life

That is a fairly clear video of the suspect's car. Someone has to remember seeing a similar car with new damage back in March.

Dont ride on an e scooter on a road where its your body vs a 4000lb car

My condolences to the family🙏 They don't stop because they're all under the influence of something and they know their lives will be over if they stop or turn themselves in. I don't ride my bicycle on public streets bike trails only, way too DANGEROUS, and they're NOT going to stop and will leave you for dead.

Literally almost hit someone on and ebike, I had to brake cuz he slowed down in the middle of the street and started thrusting on his bike,😅 I was thinking in that moment that if I hit em I wouldn’t have stoped.🎉

E-Bikes should be taken away!!! YES I AGREE, IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE CAUTIOUS WHEN WERE BEHIND THE WHEEL AND THAT PEDESTRIANS HAVE THE RIGHT BUT LETS ALSO SEE THAT THERE IS STUPID PEOPLE THAT DON’T CARE FIR THEIR LIFE SO WHAT MAKES ME THINK THAT THEY ARE GOING TO CARE FOR MINE!!! Then why is that E-Bikes continue to ride recklessly and by not paying attention to detail with other drivers next to them. Wishing that NEEDS to be fixed to see how and why can this happened this badly. So tragic and heartbreaking to see the family to go through this mess which they do not deserve that to come.😔 That is one thing to know that I do not want to get an E-Bike, and then tragic can happen to me for no reason of a hit and run incidents. So sad to see that to overcome, and people should seriously pay attention to the streets and take more caution out in the real world to avoid trouble of all this to happen.
OMG!! I hope they find this animal. Poor family! WOW! That person also double hit him. Those streets are dangerous to be riding them without bike lanes. Mixed with cars scary.🫢🫢
If you know LA, you know LA. Most LA area's are congested. Better off riding your ebike/scooter on the sidewalk sometimes.
these people on e bikes ride them super fast with no regard to other drivers or people walking, its a two way street and honestly im not surprised this happens so often. People need to pay more attention and respect each other on the roads and sidewalks in LA
