How is the F old enough for decompression? The G looks older by fat almost TOS era in appearance.
This was such a waste. Introduce the Enterprise F as a quick nod to Star Trek Online only to immediately get rid of it. I’m sure they didn’t want to pay royalties to the designer. They should have just used the Enterprise E. It would have made way more sense to decommission a nearly 30 year old ship.
What's wild to me is we still had Miranda classes over a 100 years after STO while just 20 years laters we are seeing ships to oing through multiple redisigns

It’s such a bs cop out. As if computer failure would decommission a whole starship, cause they couldn’t just replace the computers or even the computer and all the fiber or tubing or however they transmit signals at that time. 😂

Who would’ve figured that a Starship Enterprise would be commanded by Elizabeth Shelby? And who would’ve figured that she would become the second of three female commanding officers to be in command of a Starship Enterprise? good thing they brought back Elizabeth Dennehy to play Shelby one last time
This was a blatant 'Lol FU' at the fans. To take such a fan favorite ship and instantly decommission it with minimal internal shots and then replace it with the Titan… BS. Disrespectful and insulting.
Odyssey class is one of the nicest looking ships in Star Trek
My guess is that the Enterprise F – once retrieved and repaired will be given to the Starfleet Museum and become a exhibit next to the more famous Enterprise D – At Azati Prime ! And the old Starfleet HQ station there – will be her last station.

Always disliked the ship designs like the Enterprise-F and the Oberth. Something about the saucer section being attached to the secondary hull by the little twigs either side just never made sense to me.

Kirk's enterprise served for 41 years. Meanwhile Enterprise E and F combined served for less than 30.

Critical systems failure yet we see her tearing apart spacedock. Its a shame they fidnt just do what star trek online did and give her a refit into the yorktown variant of the odyssey class line, would have been much cooler if they had made star trek online canon as well as a way to honor Odo, Nog and Kai Opaka
You can tell the writers were desperate to get brownie points with the fans to bring back the Enterprise D. Not a single person stopped to think. "You know… our entire fleet can be controlled by a computer. There's no possible way for someone to take advantage of that and turn our own ships against us, right?"

thsi was beyind dumb… The F is that the "end of its line" but hey lets go back 30 years and fish up the saucer of the D and put that back into service.. These writers.. smh
What they need to do is forget all this far future Trek, get a new person to helm a series more grounded in traditional trek and do a series based on Enterprise F. In cannon thy have 20 years worth of Crew and stories to tell. Get back to exploring the galaxy, episodic adventures that have contained stories and actually develop characters. I’d rather a lower budget per episode and watch the characters and relationships grow. There’s no emotional attachment to new characters sadly.
The sole methodology of NuTrek is to gather-up and burn everything. Constantly skipping further and further ahead, in the process destroying the potential of every character, species, starship, concept, and replacing it with nothing.

The show told us the fleet was desperate for hulls, and they are gonna mothball this prestine and fairly new giant of ship. Modern Trek makes me gag.
