  1. Toyota …. Best for their philosophy?? When FORD Ranger put a wet-leather timing belt instead of Toyota steel-timing chain?? I told my-self there goes WW2 P-51 Mustang dog-fighting with Mitsubishi ZERO!! Looking at your opponent ( big smile in his face ) next the Japanese 🇯🇵 Toyota fighter pilot shoots a single bullet onto your leather timing belt (YOU GO DOWN 7000feet) wait for tow truck to give you lift home……….. 🏠

  2. That is a deeply moving look at our history. We owe an eternal debt to the brave men and women who gave everything during those final, brutal years. God bless our veterans. 🇺🇸

  3. I have watched most of these history channel videos and love every one of them. I still like rewatching them. And on the flip side to that is i hate ai with a passion

  4. I was born in the wrong era. I missed out. My dad was in WW2 but he took the safe route of serving on a destroyer. His punishment was that it was so boring and he felt like he was jailed for 4 years. ha!

  5. My grandfather was flying P51D's on the southern front. His comment was that the FW190 and ME109 was as good, or better, as the P51 with a good pilot in the cockpit. The difference was the raw numbers of fighters on the allied side and due to kills the number of experience pilots on the German side. When someone met a German ace 1-1 the German nearly always won, but it was very rare as we always came in groups.

  6. The P-51D… engine, Packard built RR Merlin, Bubble canopy, thank you for the idea Britain and drop tanks, again, thank you Britain, now you have a great fighter plane…GO GET'em, Boys…

  7. Thank god the British were masters at building engines and planes, the Merlin, the Spitfire, the Lancaster bomber, and even the Hurricane which downed many German bombers.

  8. 6:28 i’m more than a little confused as to why there’s a huge or a large flight of bombers B 24 obviously on a bombing mission and they have one plane guarding them against 17 German German fighters going up to take them out?!?!

  9. The Red Tails… unsung heroes.. There's a replica of the P-51D in Marquette Park in Gary,ln. Along with a bronze statue of a Red Tail pilot… Worked at Gary Fire Station #5 across the street from one,an optometrist Dr.Edwin Davis..l would talk to him as much as possible about his exploits in the 332nd pursuit/ fighter squadron.. Truly amazing heroes who were overlooked because of RACISM.. He's gone but not forgotten
