  1. I personally don’t think Shola should have gone back to her husband. I don’t believe he realized he loved her because she left. Maybe he realized he lost a good woman but I still wouldn’t call that love. He expressed exactly how he truly felt by telling her he didn’t love her and I don’t think that changed just in a few days because this is what a good number of men do. They marry women not because they’re in love with them but because she’s the next available woman.

I also felt Ruby should have respected Shola’s decision in not taking back Wale because she better than anyone knew what her friend went through. Of course her friend would be grieving the lost relationship, that’s only normal for someone that’s in love and has been married to a man for years. Heck, even breakups between people who aren’t married is hard. So Shola bed rotting and “not eating” is only normal. She should have been given time to heal. It just felt Ruby didn’t even mean the things she said and did with how she quickly set up that meet up with Shola and Wale. I wanted to feel that same energy she had at the beginning to still be present when her friend finally left, and by not pushing her to her “cheating bastard” husband.

And as for Shola, I was pissed with her initially but I was happy she left but i wasn’t happy with people trying to get her back to her marriage. Women will go through all sorts of emotional rollercoasters, confront the women, basically do everything but leave. Men can’t take half of what they dish out, for example see how Wale acted when he only even suspected Shola was cheating. But women are taught to be more compassionate and considerate. Wale would throw Shola out at the first whiff of her cheating. Men will prioritize themselves and women should learn to do the same.

If Shola wants to give him a chance though, I’d say she should be stricter with her boundaries and not waste time with advice and confrontation. It is better to be single than be miserable and married. It’s a waste of your life and your time. Love is not enough.

  2. Until I Break ❤️🎬 A beautiful reminder that sometimes we don't realize the value of what we have until we're about to lose it. Love, forgiveness, friendship and second chances—such a meaningful story. ❤️👏🏽
